We offer arange of programmes designed for all abilities; these include:-
We have apprenticeship programmes across a very wide range of occupational areas; in each case you have the opportunity to be employed, or in a work placement, whilst at the same time receiving training. It is a good idea to approach companies yourself, as it is a requirement of an apprentice to be employed. However, we will help to look for an employer for you and we will provide training at College, to help you gain an NVQ, relevant Key Skills and in some cases other qualifications which make up a 'framework' qualification.
As these courses are practical, we will work closely with yourself and employers, to ensure really good quality training in the workplace and our training advisers will visit you in the workplace to help support you, offer advice and undertake workplace assessments.
All apprentices receive expert and impartial information, advice and guidance before you begin your programme and a full induction and tutorial and learner support whilst on your programme.
As part of Stockport College, our apprenticeship programmes offer a rich and varied experience; you can make use of the college's sporting facilities, advanced gym or study for further qualification.
