Students need to be a minimum of 18 years of age on commencement of the programme.

  • 4 GCSE/ GCE passes including 1 at A Level and satisfactory completion of Foundation Course.
  • BTEC HND/ HNC.

Route B is our recommended route if you are studying post A Level or an equivalent art and design course (in most cases this will be a Foundation or BTEC course)

Route A is the traditional route if you are an A Level applicant or you are taking a gap year.

We welcome applications from successful HND graduates onto level 2 of the programme and Foundation Degree graduates are eligible to apply to Level 3. These students should also apply through UCAS specifying their point of entry as appropriate.

We are happy to consider applications from people from a variety of backgrounds; mature, EU and overseas applicants are welcome. Applicants who are 25 years of age and over at the beginning of their degree programme are classified as 'mature' students. If you are a mature student and do not entirely satisfy our General Entrance Requirements, don't worry. Your life experience will be taken into account and we would wish to offer you a place if you can demonstrate your ability to sustain a degree programme successfully.
