Ofsted graded us as 'Outstanding' in March 2008, and LSIS awarded us with Beacon Status in July 2008 which means that we are in the top 5% of colleges in the entire country.

Our grades are well above national average as well. At A Level we achieved a 99% pass rate in the summer of 2009 and a 89+%* pass rate in all vocational programmes.

There are a wide range of courses that accommodate a range of tastes and abilities from Hair and Beauty to Engineering, Catering to Sport. Whatever you want and whatever grades you may have, there will be a course for you.

We also have fantastic progression rates with 93% of our A Level students going on to Higher Education in 2008, studying courses from Medicine to Law.

Stockport College also offers fantastic support and students are considered more than just a number. We will support you from the moment you arrive at College until the moment you leave.

It isn't just about learning either-it is about making lots of new friends and enriching your CV with our extensive Enrichment programme; with extra activities from Law Society to the Sports Academy. You can also become a student ambassador and get paid for the privelege!
