Child Care

Both campuses offer childcare support for students with young children.

Town Centre Campus

Oliver Owls Nursery is situated on the Town Centre Campus offering extended day care for children (aged 2 years to 5 years) whose parent/main carer is a student at Stockport College.

The nursery is staffed with fully qualified Nursery Nurses who are trained to meet the individual needs of all the children enabling them to reach his/her full potential in a happy and caring environment.

The nursery is open daily during Stockport College term-time and places are allocated on your timetabled hours.

Hand in Hand Crèche is available for students use providing childcare for children from 2 months to 5 years where the parent/main carer is a student at Stockport College.

Our skilled and qualified staff offer a variety of structured activities that are planned to provide a foundation for future life.

The Crèche is open daily during Stockport College term-time from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Awards will be made to eligible students on the basis of their income and their use of childcare provided by Oliver Owls Nursery, a registered childminder or an after school club.

Stockport residents can register for a free place at any nursery school or class in the Borough for their child for the year prior to their entry to school.
