Welfare Team

Stockport College's Welfare Team are based in the Information and Advice Centres at both campuses. Advisers are available for students to provide information, advice and support on a variety of issues.

Benefits

Studying on a full or part-time course can affect entitlement to Welfare Benefits.

Childcare

We can provide help with the costs of childcare (for children under school age), where this is necessary to enable students to attend a course.

Financial Support for Further Education Students including EMA (Education Maintenance Allowance)

We may be able to help if you have difficulties with the cost of your course, such as books, equipment, educational visits or if you face an unexpected financial difficulty during your course. Find out more. To download the Learning Support Fund application form click here

Financial Support for Higher Education Students

The Access to Learning Fund provides help for those students on Degree, HND/C courses who experience financial difficulty. Find out more.

International Students

The Welfare Team are available to provide advice to international students who are studying at Stockport College.

We may be able to help for students who cannot afford to travel to College.

Tuition Fees
